wound application

Image
hair up, slop shirt on, cold cream applied (except where the wound will go) applied spirit gum to back of wound I let the spirit gum dry for 1 minute and then pressed the prosthetic to my face for 45 seconds as you can see, my prosthetic is garbage I applied color corrector and foundation  i fixed the edges of my prosthetic a little added red to what is going to be a black eye I added the dark purple to deepen the bruise I added a little bit of the dark blue for more depth I added yellow to the outside of the bruise. I used brushes for this whole process I added the dark purple to the inside of the wound I was unhappy with my black eye so I did another wound on my chin. this is a little horseshoe of red added a little purple added some blue and some yellow... just a cute little bruise powdered that face added blood  another angle of the blood after removing the prosthetic with the sp...

bruise and wound

the outline of where my bruise will be. this shape is just so cute, could be a bean blended out the outline a little bit so it wouldn't be noticeable in the bruise i ripped apart a sponge to create this effect with the red in my bruise wheel. I re-did this part 3 times because I kept making it too dark and it didn't look stippled enough I added the dark purple/brown shade from the bruise wheel with another ripped up sponge. this time instead of following the shape, I made it more of a U shape like Colleen suggested in the video. I got a couple lines from the edge of the sponge, but when I tried fixing them, it blended in and look unnatural  now I added the dark blue shade focused in the middle, this is where it started looking real.... super creepy now I added the yellow, I realized that I might have added too much yellow on the outside. I was using an LED light with a blue tint, so it kind of cancelled out the yellow, which is why I think I added too...

slop shirt and hair up cold cream applied applied yellow under eyes and green on blemishes and red areas and blended brushed them brows up first layer of glue. I applied it so the inside of the brow would go in, the middle would go up, and the outside would go out to create a fan effect. the glue I used was Elmer's re-stick: it was completely clear dabbed on some powder second layer of glue - followed same steps second layer of powder.... looking very promising third (and last) layer of glue. third layer of powder I stopped at 3 layers because it genuinely felt really flat at the time. In hindsight, I probably should have done a 4th layer applied the highlight shade with a brush added a little bit of the dusty pink color from the lip wheel to cancel out the blue undertones from my brow added another layer of highlight powdered those bad boys put my foundation shade on. this is when I really realized a 4th layer...
